Article 01 General Provisions

Article 1 Purpose

These Terms of Service are intended to regulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Hobangnet and members when members use the Internet site Hobangnet (www.hobangnet.com) service (hereinafter referred to as the “Service”).

Article 2 Definition of Terms

The terms used in these Terms and Conditions are defined as follows:

• Member: A customer who agrees to these terms and conditions and uses the site by applying for membership.
• User: Members and non-members who use the service
• ID: A unique combination of letters and numbers that members apply for and Hobangnet assigns to each member for member identification and service use.
• Password: A combination of letters and numbers set by the member to verify the member's identity.
• Nickname: A combination of letters, numbers, and symbols used to easily identify a member, separate from the member ID.
• Posts: Text, photos, videos, various materials, links, etc. posted by users within the service.

Article 3 Validity and Changes to Terms of Use

These terms and conditions apply to all members who wish to use the service.

The contents of these terms and conditions are posted through the service and made public to members, and they become effective when members who agree to them sign up for the service.

Hobangnet may revise the terms and conditions within the scope that does not violate relevant laws and regulations when necessary, and the revised terms and conditions will take effect upon posting through the service.

However, changes to important provisions regarding users' rights and obligations will be announced at least 7 days prior to the effective date.

If a member does not agree to the changed terms and conditions, he or she may discontinue using the service and terminate the service agreement. If the member continues to use the service after the changed terms and conditions take effect, he or she will be deemed to have agreed to the changes in the terms and conditions.

Article 4 Rules other than terms and conditions

For matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions, the provisions of the Framework Act on Telecommunications, the Telecommunications Business Act, and other relevant laws and regulations, as well as detailed service usage guidelines established by Hobangnet, shall apply.

Article 02 Service Use Agreement

Article 5 Establishment of the User Agreement

The contract of use is formed through the user's application for use and Hobangnet's approval of use.

When a user clicks the 'Agree' button on the screen when applying for use, he or she is considered to have agreed to the terms and conditions.

Article 6 Application for Use

Users who wish to register as members must fill out the required information in the form requested by Hobangnet and submit an application for use.

Required registration items include ID, Password, Name, Nickname, E-mail address, and other items deemed necessary by Hobangnet.

Article 7 Approval and Restrictions on Application for Use

Hobangnet approves service use applications from users who have entered the information specified in Article 6.

Hobangnet may refuse consent in the following cases:

• If you intend to use the service for illegal purposes such as disrupting social peace, order, and public morals or committing a crime.
• If it causes discomfort or disgust to others, is against public morals, or is a concern for invasion of privacy
• If a user applies whose membership has been terminated due to violation of laws or terms and conditions or other reasons attributable to the user
• If there are other reasonable grounds

Hobangnet may withhold approval in the following cases:

• If Hobangnet finds it difficult to approve service use due to equipment or technical reasons,
• If any of the reasons listed in Article 2 are discovered after the completion of the service agreement procedure, Hobangnet may immediately withdraw its approval for use, and the user concerned cannot assert any rights in relation to the use of the service.

Article 8 Changes to contract terms

If there are any changes to the information provided by members when applying for membership, members must make corrections in accordance with the method separately determined by Hobangnet.

ID cannot be changed. If you need to change it, you must cancel your membership and then re-register.

If the user's ID or nickname, or other information falls under any of the following, the service may be changed or use suspended at the member's request or at the discretion of Hobangnet.

• If it causes discomfort or disgust to others, is against public morals, or is a concern for invasion of privacy
• If there is a risk of confusion due to the name being identical or similar to Hobangnet, Hobangnet’s service, operator, or administrator, etc.
• If there are other reasonable grounds

03 Service Use

Article 9. Commencement of Service Use

• Hobangnet's services can be used by non-members as well, and some services can be used by signing up as members.

Article 10 Service Usage Time

The service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

However, the service may be temporarily suspended due to business or technical reasons or other unavoidable reasons, and any planned service suspension will be announced in advance through the service.

Article 11 Changes and suspension of services

The details of the services provided by Hobangnet may change due to service improvement or other reasons. Important changes will be notified in advance through the service.

Hobangnet may completely suspend part or all of the service in case of maintenance of facilities, termination of contract related to service provision, replacement with a new service, or other unavoidable reasons.

In the event of a service interruption pursuant to Paragraph 2, users will be notified in the manner prescribed in Article 22. However, this does not apply in cases where advance notice is impossible due to a service interruption caused by reasons beyond the control of Hobangnet.

Article 12 Postings or Contents

Hobangnet provides spaces where members can post within the service, categorized by purpose, and announces the purpose of each space through the service.

If Hobangnet determines that any content posted or transmitted by a member within the service (including transmissions between members or private posts) falls under any of the following items, Hobangnet may take measures such as suspending, moving, or deleting the posting without prior notice, and if it determines necessary, may restrict, suspend, or terminate the member's right to use the service.

• If the content contains personal attacks, slander, insults, or defamation against Hobangnet, other members, or third parties
• In case of distributing content that violates public order and morals
• If the content is related to illegal or criminal acts
• If the content infringes on the copyright, portrait rights, or other rights of Hobangnet, other members, or third parties
• If you post advertisements or promotional materials that are not approved by Hobangnet
• If the content causes discomfort to others or causes disputes between members, and if it is judged that such disputes will interfere with or hinder the business of Hobangnet
• In cases where the same content is posted multiple times, or where the posting causes disruption to the normal operation of the bulletin board.
• If you post content that does not fit the purpose specified in Article 1
• In case of violation of other related laws or violation of posting principles established by Hobangnet

Hobangnet may separately establish and operate detailed usage guidelines regarding posts and contents, and members must register posts, etc. in accordance with such guidelines.

If Hobangnet receives a request to temporarily suspend posting of a member's post, etc., based on the infringement of the legal rights of other users or third parties, the post may be temporarily suspended. If Hobangnet receives an agreement between the person requesting suspension of posting and the member who posted the post, or the results of legal action, it will follow such agreement.

Article 13 Copyright for postings

Posts published by members or Hobangnet within the service are protected by copyright law, and the copyright of the post belongs to the member who posted the post.

Members allow Hobangnet to use posts registered by members free of charge within the scope of each of the following items.

Reproducing, transmitting, displaying, distributing, or modifying the Post within the Service, including changing the size or simplifying the Post for this purpose.

Reproduction, transmission, display, and distribution of posts within the scope additionally permitted by the member at the time of posting or through optional information in the member information (e.g., scraping, saving, and allowing search). The scope may include services of related sites operated by Hobangnet and services operated by affiliates.

To provide improved services such as post search services, copying and transmitting necessary data (post title and content, poster ID, posting date, number of views, etc.) to related affiliates. However, in this case, the provided data will not be used for purposes other than those specified by Hobangnet, and personal information other than the member's ID will not be provided.

Providing, displaying, or promoting the content of a member's post to affiliates such as media or news agencies. However, in this case, Hobangnet will not provide personal information other than the member's ID to media or news agencies without the member's consent.

If Hobangnet wishes to use a member's posting in a way other than the preceding clause, it must obtain the member's prior consent through e-mail or other methods provided by Hobangnet within the service.

If a member terminates the service agreement or loses membership, the archived data (scrapbooks, notes, etc.) recorded in the member's ID will be deleted. However, posts that have been reposted or copied by other members through scrapbooks, pumps, or saving, posts that are combined with other people's posts, and posts posted on public bulletin boards will not be deleted.

Hobangnet may change the posting location of a post without changing the content of the original post due to reasons such as transfer of Hobangnet, integration of services operated by Hobangnet, or service reorganization.

Article 14 Provision of information and posting of advertisements

Hobangnet may collect additional personal information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations with the consent of members for the purpose of improving services and introducing services to members.

Hobangnet may use advertisements posted on the service or participate in the advertiser's promotional activities through the service, and if a problem arises between a member and an advertiser during this process, Hobangnet will make efforts to carry out the activities listed below.

In order to protect the rights and interests of members and prevent damages, Hobangnet provides relevant information (such as whether members who participated in promotional activities won) within the scope that Hobangnet can provide.

Hobangnet will take measures such as suspending advertisements and restricting advertising contracts with advertisers who have been objectively proven to have intentionally caused damage to members through media reports, etc.

Article 04 Obligations and Limitations of Liability

Article 15 Obligations of the website

Hobangnet complies with the provisions of laws and these terms and conditions and does its best to provide continuous and stable services.

Hobangnet establishes a security system to protect members' personal information and publicizes and complies with a personal information protection policy.

Hobangnet does not send unsolicited commercial emails for profit to its members.

Hobangnet operates a dedicated menu to receive legitimate complaints or opinions from members regarding services and strives to process received matters promptly.

Article 16 User Obligations

When applying for membership or changing membership information, users must fill out all information based on facts and using their true information. If they register false or other people's information, they cannot claim any rights related to the use of the service.

Members may not transfer or donate their right to use the service or other contractual status to others, and may not provide it as collateral or in exchange. All rights and responsibilities for posts written by members belong to the member who posted them.

Members must not allow third parties to use their ID and password, and are responsible for all problems arising from negligence in management or unauthorized use of their ID and password. If you become aware of unauthorized use of your ID, you must immediately notify Hobangnet and follow Hobangnet’s instructions.

If there are changes to the member's email address or other contract terms, the member must immediately change the information. Any losses resulting from delay or incorrect registration of information are the member's responsibility.

Members may not engage in profit-making activities using the service without prior approval from Hobangnet, and Hobangnet is not responsible for the results of such activities. In addition, if Hobangnet suffers damages due to such activities, the member shall be liable for damages to Hobangnet, and Hobangnet may restrict the member’s use of the service and claim damages through legal procedures.

Members must not collect, copy, distribute, or provide information obtained through the service or collect, store, or disclose other members' personal information without the express consent of Hobangnet.

Members must not impersonate the management, staff, or associates of Hobangnet, intentionally disrupt the service, or engage in any other acts that interfere with the normal operation of the service.

Article 05 Termination of contract and restrictions on use

Article 17 Contract Termination and Restrictions on Use

If a member wishes to terminate the service agreement, he or she may submit a request for termination through the withdrawal function within the service provided by Hobangnet.

If a member fails to fulfill the obligations stipulated in the terms and conditions, Hobangnet may, at its discretion, terminate or temporarily restrict the use agreement.

If Hobangnet terminates the user agreement, membership registration will be deleted in accordance with the personal information protection policy.

Members may file an objection to the measures in Paragraph 2 in accordance with the procedures established by Hobangnet, and if Hobangnet determines that the objection is justified, use of the service may be resumed.

Article 06 Damages and other matters

Article 18 Compensation for damages

If Hobangnet suffers damages due to an illegal act committed by a member while using the service or a violation of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions, or if Hobangnet receives a claim for damages or a lawsuit or other objection from a third party, the member in question must compensate Hobangnet for all damages incurred.

Article 19 Disclaimer

Hobangnet is exempt from responsibility for providing services in cases where it is unable to provide services due to natural disasters or other force majeure.

Hobangnet is exempt from liability for damages resulting from unavoidable reasons such as maintenance, replacement, regular inspection, or construction of service equipment.

Hobangnet is exempt from liability for service disruption caused by the member's fault.

Hobangnet is not responsible for any loss or failure to obtain expected profits by members using the service, and is not responsible for any damages resulting from information obtained through the service.

Hobangnet is not responsible for the reliability and accuracy of information, data, and facts posted on the site by members.

Hobangnet has no obligation to regularly check or review the content of posts made by members within the service, and is not responsible for the results.

Hobangnet has no obligation to intervene in disputes that arise between members or between members and third parties through the service, and is not responsible for compensating any damages resulting therefrom.

Article 20 Notification

When Hobangnet notifies a member, it may do so through the service's delivery function (message) or the member's email address registered with Hobangnet.

In cases where a member has difficulty receiving e-mail or where notice must be given to an unspecified number of members, Hobangnet may substitute individual notice by posting on a bulletin board within the service.

Article 22 Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises between Hobangnet and a member in relation to the use of the service, Hobangnet and the member will make sincere efforts to resolve the dispute through consultation.

Any lawsuit filed between Hobangnet and its users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Supplementary provisions

Article 23 Obligation to notify

If these Terms of Use are added, deleted, or modified due to changes in laws, policies, or security technologies, the changes will be announced on the site 7 days prior to their effective date.
