Vietnam Airlines, founded in 1956, is the national airline of Vietnam and currently operates over 100 routes, establishing itself as a global airline.
It has about 40 domestic routes and 60 international routes, and is chosen by many travelers for its stable operation using the latest aircraft and high service quality. Last month, at the invitation of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, I was able to experience Vietnam Airlines’ service and safety by using Vietnam Airlines directly for the Binh Thuan Province Media Fam Tour.
Time not missed, landing without shaking
This schedule used VN409 and VN408 flights connecting Incheon and Ho Chi Minh City. These flights are operated by Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner aircraft, and have recorded a 100% on-time performance rate based on the last 30 days.
In the past 30 days, flight VN409 recorded a 100% on-time performance rate.
Before departure, I was worried because I often feel pain in my ears when taking off or landing on airplanes. In particular, on the morning of the 21st of last month, when I looked out the window on the flight back to Incheon Airport, the weather was cloudy and covered with thick fog, and I couldn't see the ground at all.
As the arrival time approached, I vaguely thought that my ears should be starting to hurt by now, but before I knew it, the plane landed on the runway surprisingly smoothly. The moment of landing was so smooth that I could barely feel the impact, and some passengers applauded in surprise, saying, "We're already here?"
There are many cases where ear pain occurs due to changes in cabin pressure when landing, and ears feel stuffy for a while even at the destination, but on this flight, there was no discomfort at all during the round-trip. This was believed to be due to Vietnam Airlines' advanced cabin environment system, the characteristics of large aircraft, and the captain's stable operating skills.

This Binh Thuan Province media fam tour was satisfactory from start to finish thanks to Vietnam Airlines. After arriving in Ho Chi Minh City, the schedule continued without a hitch thanks to Vietnam Airlines’ punctual flight, and I was able to sleep comfortably under the warm in-flight blanket, so I was able to finish the trip without any fatigue.
